Paul from Dub­ble­standart send me this great doc­u­men­tary about the move­ment Lee Perry started when he pro­duced his clas­si­cal “Black­board Jun­gle” Album, 6 min­utes of edu­ca­tion and great footage — gotta know your roots!

The video footage of the Lee “Scratch” Perry / Dub­ble­standart show in Cen­tral Park, NYC, for a capac­ity crowd plus a secret show in Brook­lyn. Also includes inter­view footage with UK dub­step pro­ducer Rusko. I still regret hav­ing missed the con­cert in Vienna — it seems that Lee, aged 70+, is brag­ging about his hard-on on stage (respect!) — but I’m really look­ing for­ward to the next sub­atomic­sound gig. “We gonna chase the devil outta earth!”
